1.Anonymous Foretaste by Professionals
During the activity, gastronomes will be invited to the restaurant for anonymous foretaste. They will assess the service, hygiene and taste of dishes in the restaurant, and write a report to send to the restaurant.

2.Selection page www.asiastar-tv.com Function of page
1)customers can vote and comment on the website;
2)Shows the basic information of the restaurants. Like inner and outside view and pictures of "signature dishes";
3)Reprint comments from the big food websites eg: yelp.com、google、facebook.

3.Posters
Within one month, we will mail 2 nice posters (English and Chinese) to the selected restaurants. Those posters will have the logo, official website of "the Best Asian Food in Canada/USA" competition, and in the right corner it will have 2-D barcodes. Customers can scan these with their mobile phones, to vote and comment at the official website for the restaurants they like.

4.Social media promotion
Within 60 working days, the official WeChat public account, Facebook and Instagram of the event will be used to release the news of the competition of the restaurant and provide professional promotion and publicity for the restaurant through social media.

5.Media public relations
We will send newsletters through Email, mail, telephone, etc. to the local TV stations, radio stations, magazines and newspapers, to inform them of the news that restaurants are taking part in "the Best Asian Food in Canada/USA" competition. We invite the local media to comment on the restaurants, and we will assist them as best as we can to report series of local news.(Remarks: Restaurants owners can provide contact information of local media, restaurants and customers, so the committee can do the  PR accordingly)

6.Trophy and certificat
We will announce the award winners' publicly and we will send trophies and certificates for free to the winning restaurants. At the same time, we will send the news to the local media through Email, mail, telephone, etc and we invite them to transfer the reports about the award.

7.Make a Large scale restaurant documentary “the Best Asian Food in Canada/USA”
For The western mainstream society and media focus to understand more about this activity, the committee will make a large scale restaurant documentary called “the Best Asian Food in Canada”. All the award winning restaurants will have the opportunity to show the specialties of their restaurants. The winning restaurants will provide a video of how to cook their signature dishes and the committee will make, in a vivid and narrative method, a small documentary about the specialties of those restaurants. As such the customers can truthfully feel the richness and profoundness of Chinese food.
