Had a chance to pre-order some special frozen buns. It was surprisingly moist and yummy after we steamed them. It was not dry at all. Our pre-order frozen items were all packaged nicely when we picked up our order. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very pleasant experience.
I heard about this restaurant from a friend on Yelp! Was in the area and was craving some beef noodles. There is a never a day where I will pass up noodles and dumplings.
This restaurant is a hole in the wall with a few workers but luckily I went at a time that was not busy. The restaurant itself was hard to find without a sign posted on the building of the plaza it's in. It's swallowed by other businesses but so worth the try. Parking is only difficult because the plaza is pretty packed (at least when I went).
The hostess/waitress was kind and made sure she knew which dish we received, considering we only spoke English. She was friendly and was working on packaging freshly made dumplings to be sold.
Overall, worth a try! Decently priced and amazing food. Next time I'll try the frozen dumplings and make them at homes
I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and finally got to go with my family. Can't believe this place only has 70 reviews. This might be one of the best Taiwanese spots in the SGV.
We got beef noodle soup 牛肉麵, signature dry noodles 麻醬麵, pork and coriander dumplings, pork and cabbage dumplings, and appetizers 小吃. We felt at home and even felt as if we were back in Taiwan while eating here. The dumplings were so good, we got some frozen ones to take home.
One thing I will say is that the noodle dishes are big and can be a lot/heavy if you are eating a whole one yourself. It's best to share with your table and enjoy the meal family-style.
Came here on recommendation from a friend.
It is next door to a more famous Noodle place which doesn't seem to do it justice I guess!
Really good!
Nice setting with a giant freezer in the front looks like they couldn't fit one in the back and they wanted to probably not take away from customer space so they left the walk in the open area....no problem with me! Space is MONEY!
Overall the food was pretty darned good....
Both my friends had the Beef Noodle Soup and I had the Cold Sesame Noodles....
Flavor was wonderful for all of us...not overly salty like some places....You could tell they cared about how they made the food!
I would come here again.....
Ordered beef noodle soup, cabbage pork dumplings and dry noodle for my wife and me. Everything was so deliciously flavored and very close to authentic Taiwanese street food or even better than some from Taiwan. I was so surprised that Arcadia has Taiwanese this good, I will be back for more!
Sorry I forgot to take pics till almost finished everything.
Authentic Taiwanese Noodles and Dumplings. Really friendly crew and casual. We didn't discover this place until today and they've been around for 4 years!
Trying new restaurant with family and found this hidden gem!
We ordered cabbage pork dumplings (my favorite), leek shrimp and pork dumplings (my 2nd favorite), coriander pork dumplings (I liked it but loved precious two better), This is now our new favorite dumpling place in LA (we love thin wrap with nice generous filling dumplings and not overly salty beef noodle soup and traditional dry noodle)!
Veggies with stewed ground pork and stewed bean curd, seaweed and eggs with crushed garlic were flavorful, not too salty.
We will come back!
Having been to a dozen of beef noodle restaurants in Los Angeles, this place is literally screaming in Taiwanese saying "we have authentic beef noodles!"
My fav it got to be their Beef Chunks and beef stews noodles, very tender, chewy and their soup base is super flavorful. I usually finished my noodles and have the soup boxed to go, and I would use the leftover soup to serve with instant noodles at home, perfect combination, while tastier and healthier compare to msg soup base.
This restaurant has become my cafeteria over time, every now and then, I would come here for lunch, I wouldn't mind eating beef noodles for lunch everyday for the rest of my life if it has to be Apt Li Xiang!
Hole in the wall with rustic, traditional Taiwanese flavors. Most authentic beef noodle soup in town (Taiwanese style). Healthy portions of meat for your bulk and fantastic frozen dumplings to take home instead of doing meal prep. Try the spicy pepper skin dumplings - they're super flavorful and come packing a proper punch.
Omg I think I just had the best Taiwanese beef noodle in the US! Definitely take me back home to Taiwan. The dumplings were also superb and we ended up buying two bags to take home. Side dishes were also hits. We got the cucumber, a choy, pig ears, and braised tofu/kelp/peanut combo. Prices were good for the amount of food as well.
If you are looking for authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup and dumplings please don't miss this one. I really love their food very delicious and the beef are cut in the right sizes so they are not over-cooked and still have the chewy texture as well as the beef tendons. The dumplings are also really good with the special hot sauce they made. The food tastes like the ones I ate in Taiwan since I haven't been back there for at least 5 years, I really appreciate the taste in this restaurant.
