Delicious!!!!!! Omg this was a 1am savior! After being out pretty much all day shopping, eating, drinking and dancing, this place closed the day on the best note! The chicken chow mein was superb! The freshest veggies, delicious sauce and just the right amount of pan frying without being weighed down in grease. The sweet and sour chicken had a tasty sauce and the battered chicken was light enough it didn't get dense. Juicy and moist, just the way I like it! The server was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be back again!
San Francisco quality Chinese food in London -- and that is hard to find, compared to what I usually consider fairly bland, unimpressive Chinese in much of London's Chinatown. Of note here: crispy aromatic duck (down-to 1/4th which is great), seafood hot and sour soup, Sichuan chili prawns, and the dim sum basket. Very, very good. I'll come here again.
We went to this restaurant by chance and were drawn in by the fact that there seemed to be a mainly Chinese clientele - which, for us, was a promising sign for a Chinese restaurant...and it did not disappoint.
We had a highly entertaining waiter and went for a two-person set menu which was DELICIOUS. The duck pancakes in particular were just the right crispiness and the black bean beef dish was also very tasty. All of the three different dishes we ate were great actually.
If you're around Soho and/or Chinatown and are spoilt for choice with the countless Chinese restaurants, this is a pretty good place to start.
