Reviews:
Definitely a better Cantonese food restaurant in the east side. There are better in China town Seattle. But no one got time to drive across I-90.
Chinese Sausage with chicken thigh: Soooo damn good! Same or better than A+ Kitchrn. Their burnt rice at the bottom is so easy to remove from the pot and it's not overly burnt where it's bitter. It's perfect crispy level. Definitely going to try out other clay pot rice from this place.
Also really like their steam noodles with pork and preserved vegetables. Not too dry and the preserved vegetables adds that saltiness to the noodle.
Wonton and braised beef noodle soul is also good but I do understand why some people think it's tasteless. The flavor of this dish comes from their egg noodles, wonton and the beef. The soup itself doesn't got much taste because they don't pour salt and MSG into their soup base. I like this more since you don't get hella thirsty after drinking the soup like weeb meeting their vtuber.
I went back again shortly after since it was so good I brought friends - the rice rolls were warmer this time, and I added an egg to my shrimp rice rolls which was also good!
New dishes I tried were the Century Egg and Pork Congee, and the fish paste in chili. Both were delicious, and you can self serve some crispy bits and peanuts at the front for your congee.
The fish paste was stuffed in jalapenos so they've got some kick! The paste itself was soft and flavorful. I haven't had a dish here disappoint me yet.
It's a popular new spot, so expect to wait!
Finally a rice roll/congee/wonton noodle soup spot on the east side! This place reminds me of a Seattle favorite, Mike's noodle house, but east side edition plus a few more items on the menu. They make their rice rolls in house and it is so delicious. It was recommended that we eat it while it was still hot and it was gone in .3 seconds. Their congee was good and so was the wonton noodle soup. Absolutely delicious, homey, and perfect for the cold weather. I can't wait to go back!
An unassuming spot near Crossroads in North Bellevue, Lee's kitchen dish out no frills Cantonese dishes like rice rolls, congee, wonton soup, and clay pot rice. It's pretty much self service and ordering online via the QR code was fast and painless.
Always a hit! I've gone twice so far and I can say it's hands down the best rice rolls and claypot you'll find in Washington. It's on the same level as this kind of food you find in Richmond (not even exaggerating). However be prepared to wait because their restaurant is pretty small and packed there aren't a ton of seats and they are always full. It's worth the wait and usually it won't take too long either.
They're generous with their meat and the quality has never disappointed. My favorite is their shrimp rice roll and the claypot with chinese sausage. Don't forget to grab some extra sauce at the front for your claypot rice and the rice rolls, they offer a couple other small snacks/toppings in the front as well. They even gave us each a small bowl of tasty soup on the house.
I hope they continue this level of food and portions down the line as well
Finally a legitimate cantonese restaurant in the eastside.
Im a fan of their lap cheong lap yuk Claypot rice, proper "soap water" wonton noodles, zaa leung (oil fry ghost wrapped in cheong fun), and shrimp cheong fun.
Great Cantonese Food! Will definitely keep going! Small family restaurant with great service, highly recommended if you are looking for Hong Kong style food
I came here looking for some plain congee because my stomach hasn't been feeling well and needed something light. I went to order my takeout for two plain congees and I felt bad since I would've loved to try more food but wasn't able to right now so I let the man taking my order know. Moments later he asked if I wanted some soup for free as well and it was so kind and warmhearted and exactly what my doctor wanted me to eat as well: some beef or chicken broth with some veggies. It warmed my heart so much and I could've be more grateful. Once I feel better, I will definitely be back to try their other foods.
The place is small and sometimes you have to serve yourself. Clay pot rice is good (with burned-rice at bottom), rice roll are unique and good too. Better order to-go next time!
The rice rolls are so fresh and yummy. Love the jiajiamian and the you tiao (oil sticks) Nice owners and grandmother chef. Cozy
Very good food , I ordered the pork braised ribs , the service was great .. I would definitely recommend eating here and plan on go back in the future.
