Delicious food that is made to order with huge portions. Be aware that you might want to share! I have been here a few times including for the lunch specials, and the food was always amazing and the portions are more than enough for 1 person.
This is a family-friendly, fast-service, and inexpensive restaurant. My kids loved it and my husband is a fan. I definitely recommend Frannies for anyone wanting a good family meal or even a quick order pick up.
We had the wonton soup and it was very good. The wonton are fresh and soup had no MSG in it and both make the lunch very light but satisfying!
Will visit again to try others !

I love this place , always good fresh food, unlike the Frannies Express, but that's a whole other review! They still give you soup and an egg roll with your lunch special that will feed you twice, me anyways.
I went back to Frannies based on my friend's recommendation of their WAR WON TON SOUP. Having this in other restaurants was fine but here it was a WOW so I'll cal it the Wow War Wonton Soup! Order the large and that's enough for 4 people. You can delete or add the protein you prefer: shrimp, pork, beef or all of them together. This was definitely a secret and now it is the BEST soup I've had so far!.....P. S. get the dried string beans as a side dish and you won't be disappointed.
WOW! This place is NOT stingy on portions,,,,,they are HUGE. 1 order can feed 2 people and you still might have enough left to take home. The prices are the lowest in the area based on portions, quality etc. We dined inside and the service was 5 star also, quick to take your order, refill your beverages, bring extra napkins AND serve the food onto your plates. We felt like we were fine dining based on the attentiveness & friendliness of the entire staff!
I got the beef with string bean. The beef is tender and the sauce is sooo good. Beans are crunchy and fresh. Amazing plating and delicious food :) This is a must come place for Chinese food!
I am so happy this place is finally open for dine in. We have missed it. The food continues to be delicious and the portions are generous.

Frannies has always been a great place for well proportioned servings, spot on service, and tasty food.
It was sad that that Frannies decided to cease dine in options, but their decision was very wise from a business decision.
Their food continues to be abundant and flavorful.

I've been looking for a great Chinese restaurant here in Hayward! Honestly, coming in I was pretty indecisive looking at the menu, but with the help of the kind staff I was able to choose some great items. I really wanted to dine in, but dine in is available starting in January. Regardless, everything hit the spot.
The crunch on the chicken wings, walnut shrimp, and crab wontons was perfect. The chicken wings were everything you could ask for, perfectly crispy on the outside, and moist and tender on the inside. Unbeatable!
My first time here was fantastic, 11/10 would recommend.

Love everything on their menu...alot of choices to make but everything comes hot & fresh once order is placed. The ambiance is very family friendly, servers are helpful & polite as well.
The food is really good. I always have a hard time finding good Chinese food. The service is nice. Very polite. I like the ambience. I guess the only down side is very pricey. Other than that I have no complains.

Great honey walnut prawns, very delicious, I ordered this after finishing working, my work place is 15 mins to the restaurant and by the time I got there the food was already waiting for me, this restaurant is very efficient and I would definitely recommend it to everyone
The food was very good. Good size portion and a real fair price. Also, they remodeled. Good lighting, nice light wood on the walls, new tables and chairs. Good service and I'm glad they reopened!

THIS WAS AMAZING!!! my cousin recommended me to try it and said it was the best Chinese food so i just had to try it. I drove 2 hours to come and it was WORTH ITT!!! The service was amazing and the workers were very kind. Also the food came very fast. My favorite dish was the string beans. I COULD EAT TEN PLATES OF THEM. 10/10 experience! WILL BE DEFINITELY COMING BACK

Been coming here for years you kind of just get used to seeing all the same people. The food stays consistent. The restaurant is always clean. The service is pretty fast and you get allot in your orders.
Hayward staple FRANNIE'S is BACK! Until just recently, this spot was only take out since the pandemic. 2 months ago they re-opened their dining room. Frannie's has always been a consistent spot for your Chinese and Hawaiian BBQ food needs. We recently just found out they were open so we had lunch there and I have to say it's like they never closed. The lunch specials are always on point and food quality is awesome as ever! (The wings....ooh chefs kiss!) You really can't go wrong with anything you order, and oh yeah don't expect to wait too long for your food, because they are lightning fast!

Always love their food. Great selection to choose from and large portions .. personally my favorite are the crab wontons . Fast and friendly service. If you ever craving some Hawaiian good or Chinese food this place has it..
I'm so happy this place finally open for dine in. The service is the best, the waitress was on the lookout if we needed anything, the food was very delicious as always, it was a good lunch for my family, I recommend 100% Frannie's.

I haven't been back here in over 2 years! Due to Covid they were closed down... I decided to check up on them for a preview of fellowship nites on Thursday for a group of friends and dragged a willing friend here for Lunch!!! They just reopened 2 months ago and the food was amazing! The portions are huge and so worth coming out here. It's not too large, but small enough to feel cozy and enough room for larger parties! Come check them out you will be so happy you did!!!
VERY DELICIOUS!! My friend ordered takeout for her birthday party and that was my first time trying it. I had to ask her where she got it from because it was AMAZING. I went there and customer service was amazing and the food got served very quickly. The food had amazing flavor to it. I would definitely recommend coming back!
This restaurant has the best food of any Chinese restaurant that I have been in everything is absolutely wonderful. The people here are very very friendly and are on their toes and helping if you need anything else. I highly highly highly recommend this restaurant and give it a try. In June, we hosted a family gathering at Frannie's Restaurant for 45 people. Sam helped us arrange everything, and he and the entire staff created a welcoming environment for us and the food and service was excellent. Everyone in our party commented on how delicious the food was, and said they would definitely return to Frannie's!
Excellent place for Chinese! Food is always fresh, hot, and of great quality. I would recommend to order head (i believe they now opened the dining area to eat at location). Be warned, though it can be a little pricey since almost everything is a la carte, but dont worry about the portions they load it up!
Amazing food and even better service! Mei was very attentive, excellent service. I recommend the skinny noodle chow mein and the orange chicken is the best I've had!
