We came here on a Friday evening. It was busy. My daughter had the baked pork chop rice a la carte while I had the pork knuckle dinner special. The dinner special includes rolls, a drink and soup of the day. I had the vegetable beef soup which was delicious and sweet. The rolls were fresh and light. The pork knuckle was crispy and very tasty...and huge! $57.50 with tip for 2. We'll be back to try some of the other things on the menu!
A cozy and comfy restaurant. Beautiful decor. Delicious and tasty food, huge portion dishes. Good price, offer soup salad and drinks for their set dinner, value for money. Friendly service. Good new spot for friends and family gathering.
Moved to new location back in early October and has become the new place in town. More seating, more spacious. They now have party room which can communicate large group up to 20. Food is still reasonably priced. Keep in mind, with more customers, comes with longer wait time, as the kitchen is getting used to the larger volume, but it's improving.
Dickens Restaurant, recently rebranded from their previous location at leslie/16th, no longer cafe but restaurant! Located at the apple creek and Woodbine plaza. Their new location is super spacious and comfortable, with strict protocols upon entry that follows the guidelines of covid prevention.
Food wise, MASSIVE portions!!! Most times I couldn't finish a single casserole dish in one sitting! What I enjoy is also the soup that comes with the meals (I'm a huge cream soup fan) , sometimes they have pumpkin cream, sometimes it's cream of corn, it's been different time to time!
Staff are super friendly and attentive! Definitely worth a try!
Quality food and excellent service. The owner is very friendly and you can see her knowing and socializing with many customers.
Location for HK Style food. They have sets you can choose from or order individual dishes. Love their Wings & Beer promo along with their snack options that’s available every Friday & Saturday. The perfect combo for late night comfort food! They also have a vip room where you can reserve for large gatherings. Overall, had a great experience!
Soooooo satisfied with the abundance of great tasty snacks and delicious Hong Kong style food! Nice to have a room for our group to share the sets and drinks. Love the cool design and comfy seating, and nice service as well. Would definitely come back to tryout other menu items with family.
Highly recommend the White source chicken rice, it's very tender juicy inner and crispy outer skin! There are so many meat with each portion! During the lunch, It come with soup and garlic bread which are also very high quality. The price was slightly on the low side for fine dining with such big portion! Will come back to try more!
First time in this location. Nice ambience, good spacing and comfortable seats. Goodbplace to hang around. Big selection of breakfast menu. Taste is okay, portion are very generous.
It’s a Hong Kong style cafe but they serve western meals for dinner (steak, lamb racks, tomahawk, seafood, etc). Reasonable prices but skip their crème brulée and tiramisu desserts. My lamb was good quality and cooked well. The bread was delicious, lobster bisque to skip. They followed the medium rare instructions which were good
Went here tonight for dinner, food was delicious! We got the two dinner combo. The lobster bisque was delicious and the bread was toasted and warm. The salmon salad was very good, a nice mustard dressing. For the main I got the steak, it was perfectly medium rare and was very tasty. My husband got the lamb which was also delicious. We will be back!
