I went here late at night and grabbed the Oreo mochi milk tea with half sugar. I really enjoyed it though it was a bit on the sweeter side. I would get the same drink again but with less sugar next time.
The mochi had good flavour and texture. The flavour of the tea itself was still prominent even with the extra Oreo and mochi toppings.
Overall, I enjoyed the drink and would definitely try their other milk teas as well.
I was a little sad when I came to Langham Square for some OneZo and saw that it was replaced, however I'm super glad I gave this place a try as it is now my go-to bubble tea shop.
My two favourite drinks from here are the peach oolong tea (with cheese foam) and the fresh grape tea. I've tried different variations of these drinks from other stores, but I have to say Cha Miao does it the best - their teas are super refreshing while packing the perfect punch of flavour.
I've been exclusively heading to this store for drinks and I can confidently say they are now my #1 for bubble tea in Markham. Definitely be sure to check this place out if you're in the area!
We always love trying new bubble tea shops, so when Cha Miao came up in our Google search for boba, we were so excited because we've never seen it before.
Not sure when they opened up, but we were so happy we discovered this place! We ordered the Miao Miao lychee tea ($6.49) and mango yogurt slush ($6.99). Both tasted so good, not to mention how aesthetically pleasing they were! We were able to adjust the sugar level to 70% for the lychee drink, but the mango yogurt slush was fixed. We usually get 25% sugar, so we were surprised that both weren't that sweet at all! It was the perfect level of sweetness. What we also loved is that the toppings were already included in these drinks. We didn't feel the need to add any, as they give a generous amount.
Service was good, as we didn't have to wait long, and they have proper covid restrictions in place.
Verdict:
We will be back! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.
Ordered a bunch of drinks from here yesterday for family as I was super intrigued by their fancy wide selection of flavours and drinks. Might I add that the drinks and packaging are the cutest things I've ever seen!
I can't speak much for the other drinks but I myself ordered the mango pudding jasmine slush and loved it... it was unlike anything I've ever had. It had so many different components to it that it was more like a dessert drink but in the most satisfying way. With every sip I got mouthfuls of different flavours... from the mango chunks to the sago and pomelo bits. Everything mended together nicely, though I will say the mango taste was very subtle but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting the drink to have as many ingredients as it did.
The workers were very nice and accommodating as well. I ordered through Fantuan because they have a promo going on and the 2 yogurt drinks didn't have the option to add any toppings in app. When I went in store to ask if I could add tapioca, he said he didn't recommend it since everything was fixed already but I still really wanted the tapioca. He said he would include it for me for free, though I insisted and paid the additional difference. It was still a nice gesture since some places are very by the book stingy when it comes to adding toppings to drinks.
Overall I would recommend this place and return to try more from their menu. It is at a steeper price point but justifiable since the drinks are so unique and packed with so many different components. It's definitely a nice change from your classic bubble tea picks.
As a self-proclaimed mango smoothie connoisseur, I had to try it on my first trip here. This was the best mango smoothie I've ever had. Very flavourful with the perfect amount of chunkiness. That led me to try the strawberry and peach smoothies as well, which were also amazing and worth ordering again. Feeling particularly bold, I attempted the avocado smoothie. It was bland and not very enjoyable, so I'd suggest sticking with mango, strawberry, or peach. I'll be returning here regularly!
The cat mascot caught my eye as I wondering which bubble tea place to go to at Skycity. Cha Miao is a relatively new contender in the area that have really eye catching bottles (machi machi watch out!)
I got the mango yogurt drink that was served in a bottle that was layered well with different toppings. The toppings in the drink were jelly pieces and mango which complimented the mango slush and yogurt drink. After shaking it and trying it, it tasted a lot like a mango pudding. I would highly recommend if you're in the mood for one of those.
I'm definitely coming back to try more of the drinks - especially the yogurt ones, and the other miao miao teas.
Plus points, the bottle comes with a lid that has a hole already punched into it, with a wide mouth. Definitely something I would keep for plant propagation.
I'm clearly a sucker for pretty things and these drinks are no exception. Not only were these pretty, they were yummy too! Cha Miao's Lychee Tea is one of their signatures items. It has rose flower petals, pieces of real lychee and other pieces of jelly. The only annoying this was the toppings sort of stuck together so I had to break up the chunk with the straw. I got 70% sweetness which was a perfect level for me. I'm not a fan of those thick and heavy drinks so this was really refreshing and light for me. Also had the mango pomelo coconut slush, and it wasn't as good as their signature bottled drinks. I would come back if I was in the area because it seems like they only have a Scarborough location right now
My friends have been raving about this place and was telling me to try it as this is their new go-to place for tea. We were in the area for dinner so we decided to swing by here to grab one to go. I ordered the Pink Peach Lemon Fruit Tea and my boyfriend had the Orange Jasmine Green Tea. They didn't have the option of zero sugar so I had to go with 30% sugar. To my surprise, our drinks were so great that I was okay with the 30% sugar. Normally I'll order all my bubble drinks without sugar but this one certainly made the cut. I am definitely impressed and will continue to come back here. My friends were right to rave about it.
The lychee fruit tea, bubble tea, and mango slush with yogurt are really good! And they use real fruits too!
My new favourite bubble tea shop of all time!!! The mochi soy cream milk tea is just heavenly! It's like eating a dessert. Very similar to the mochi soy cake box from Deer Cake next door.
