Introduction of the restaurant:

So thrilled to have discovered this little gem hidden away in Tooronga Terrace. We almost don't want others to know about it! No, it won't win awards for the decor (framed jigsaw puzzles of Disney characters) but the atmosphere is comfortable and lively without being too noisy.

The owner is such a friendly and helpful man. Being westerners who love authentic Chinese food, we insist on ordering from the Chinese menu (much to the amusement and delight of the owner who has recently and thoughtfully translated the Chinese menu into an English version).

He is also always happy to suggest recommendations and advise on dishes we see coming out of the kitchen to tables of Chinese diners. We are still experimenting and working our way through the extensive menu but can highly recommend the following: deep fried whole chilli flounder, duck with taro, steamed oysters with ginger and shallot, whole steamed fish with ginger and shallot, beef with bitter melon, crab with salty egg.

On our last visit we were also treated to a complimentary bowl of Chinese chicken and vegetable soup, it was so delicious it felt medicinal.

Love this place.

I'm assuming this is the Chinese restaurant northside of the station, near the old video shop and martial arts place. Clearly the best restaurant in Beverly Hills with quality rice or noodles cooked very quickly. Prices are comparable to the fast service asian places in Hurstville, even though less competition should result in greater prices. It's only a small place (though having an aquarium and snoopy pics haha) which is why many won't have heard of it.
