Taste and preferences are subjective but this place is in my top 3 dim sum restaurants in the region. My go to dishes at any given dimsum restaurants are shumai, hargow, lomaigai, sinzukgyun, wugok... Here's some highlights:
- They don't use msg and I don't feel that thirst bomb after eating their food. I've been more sensitive to msg lately so I've been selective on this...
- Ingredients are fresh and they don't skimp and no fillers in their dimsum. I stop going to a dimsum restaurant when they do this and refuse to pay for a xiumai or hargow that's all fat or some other mystery filler.
- Dishes are made to order so they are delivered to our table piping hot and steamy.
- Their regular family style entrees are good too
- Lastly, the main cashier lady who is also the manager/owner is super nice. I hope they maintain their quality, I'll keep coming back. Prices are fair and slightly less expensive than other dimsum places in the South Bay.
This is our new go to spot for Chinese food. We loved it, kids loved it. Happy family.
Try the salt and pepper eggplant. Your welcome :)
Probably my favorite dim sum place at the moment. Located off 880 in the same plaza as McDonald's. Plenty of parking in the parking lot.
Staff are so friendly and service prompt. Didn't have to wait for a table at 11am on Lunar New Year Sunday. Dim sum is made to order and everything ordered was well seasoned. Sit down, mark what you want on a paper menu and hand it to them. All our dishes came out at the same time.
Egg yolk buns are bouncy and yolk leaky when pulled apart. Good amount of filling to bun. Yum! Shu Mai has a mix of pork and shrimp and no fatty filler meat. Nicely seasoned. Ha gao wrapper is a little sticky but the shrimp is plump and fresh. The bean curd roll is filled with a good amount of meat and veg. Bean curd wrapper had a good chew texture. Not hard or mushy. Sticky rice was a good ratio of minced meat, Chinese sausage, salted egg yolk. 5 dim sum dishes was the perfect amount for the 2 of us to share. We finished it all and did not feel overly stuffed. Happy repeat customer. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed the dim sum here. The food is good for the amount of price it charges. The service is quite good for example the waitress is very careful to not let the clay pot get to close to us when it's super hot and sizzling.
If you come here on week day for dinner, they offered a special $36 for 3 dishes. The have update their menu order on tablet, and it showed pic to help you visual the items. Love that they offered dim sum at dinner, make to order so is piping hot when it comes out! Ambiance is good, not too loud and is easy to find parking! My favorite dish has to be salt and pepper tofu and sweet and sour pork!
Tried this bistro last night. Food was authentic Cantonese. Service was excellent with friendly staff. And this little bistro is clean and tidy. Highly recommended.
We are regulars here to the point where the owner recognizes us every time we come.
The food here is just so good, fresh and delicious. The chefs here definitely know how to cook good Dim Sum and Cantonese style cuisine. They know food here!
Practically everything we've ordered here is delicious and we haven't been disappointed thus far. I think the Sweet & Sour Pork is one of the best dishes they've got here. It's so good, Ike of the best out there. They also have this dim sum dessert, Crispy Fried Milk, it's also so good!!
The customer service is pretty good here, the owner is very nice and friendly to all, especially her regular customers :)
This is the place to come for some delicious dim sum and Cantonese food in South Fremont, located inside the Northport Center.
Definitely recommend this place.
Hidden hole in the wall! Meet Best Asian Bistro in Fremont. This spot specializes in delicious dim sum dishes and other Chinese cuisine. My parents brought me here for some Cantonese eats and I was so impressed. Located in a nondescript plaza, this restaurant was fairly empty when I rolled in on a Saturday afternoon but the food did not disappoint! We ordered the siu mai, har gow, chow fun with shrimp, lotus sticky rice, radish cake, bean curd skin roll, beef tripe, and deep fried pork meat dumpling. Every bite was fresh, not fatty, and filled with flavor. Prices were also super reasonable! This will definitely be my family's new go-to dim sum spot.
Delicious and lower than average price. Good environment, friendly service. Highly recommend!
BTW, the location used to be a good Taiwanese cafe.
We ordered take-out from here via Wee, which is a nice way to explore restaurants that aren't in our immediate area (Walnut Creek).
I don't normally write reviews for this kind of take-out, since the food has to be prepared so much earlier to be included with a delivery of groceries.
Wow- everything we got was delicious. Well prepared, sensibly packed, and made with quality ingredients.
Perfect dim sum lunch of a cloudy winter day!! Great food and attentive service. The dining hall was spacious and not too crowded
We had the har gow, Sui Mai, BBQ buns, shrimp and spinach dumplings, braised fish & tofu hotpot and stir fry fish in black bean sauce. All were very good
This is very good! Owner definitely need to sell CHICKEN FEET!!! Shrimp chow fun is little bland but with little sauce/chili goes perfect with it.
A great Hong Kong style Chinese restaurant (Americanized). Fabulous food and nice people who really want to please. Give them a try...you will not regret it!
Very authentic Cantonese food that reminds me of home. I specially like the Chinese broccoli with fish cake 手打魚餅芥蘭, as this kind of fish cake is not very common in the bay are. Beef chow fun is full of umami and "work hee".
